Bouhammer
www.bouhammer.com/
The Bouhammer [boo-ham-er] blog was originally created by a 22-year retired First Sergeant of the Army. This blog started out as a way to write about military related issues. It turned into a way for Bouhammer to document his 16 month tour as an ETT leader in Afghanistan for family and friends. It is now one of the leading and award-winning blogs written exclusively on operations in Afghanistan and other military related topics. In addition to Bouhammer, there are several other guest authors. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy what you see. If you care about what is happening in the land where the attacks of 9/11 were planned and if you care about our military, this is the blog for you. Tell your family, tell your friends, and even tell people you don't like.

The Boot Campaign
www.bootcampaign.com/welcome.html
Welcome to our Home! Come in, make yourself comfortable, kick your shoes off and stay awhile. You KNOW by the time you?re done visiting, you?ll want to slip your feet into some of our boots! No rush though! Sit back, relax and get to know us! The Boot Campaign is a grassroots initiative started by 5 women from Texas known as the Boot Girls. They provide an easy and tangible way for Americans to show support of our troops (both past and present) that?s practical and directly benefits our military. Proceeds from boot sales are donated to partner charities, who assist returning veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and varying degrees of physical injuries As Boot Girl Ginger so aptly said: "?we?re not setting out to conquer the world. We just all feel the same conviction ? to find a way to honor and say thank you to our military men and women for their service and sacrifice. We realize that we will never REALLY know what it?s like to be in THEIR shoes, and we will never claim to get it." That?s why the Boot Campaign motto is: When They Come Back, We Give Back! What better way to say thank you to our troops than sporting a pair of boots just like theirs! So join in the growing chorus of radio, television, music and sports celebrities and get YOUR boots ON!
