I wrote the free story, "The Demons of War are Persistent" to help all vets and families break the stigma of PTSD and seek help from peer groups, VA medical facilities, or other medical/support groups.

I am in my 40's, my kids are grown and have one grand-daughterand another grand-child on the way. I am living my second childhood and trying to spoil my grand-daughter! I started driving a truck in 1990 with the better part of 3 years in Iraq as a civilian contractor truck driver. I have run through all lower 48 states and parts of Canada in a big truck.

Due to an on the job injury, I can no longer be a truck driver, so I am going to college at USM in Hattiesburgh, MS. I work on the campus radio station, WUSM. I host the noon show, Southern Miss Today as well as DJ a 2 hours show on Saturdays that features trucking music. I love riding motorcycles and scuba diving. One of the things I love about living on the Gulf coast is that the weather is nice enough that I can ride almost year round!! I have ridden my motorcycle in 33 states and crossed Canada from Ontario to Port Huron.

I am the co-founder of "Road Dogs on Hogs", a group of truck drivers that love to ride motorcycles. I am also the author of the book, "Cindy in Iraq: A Civilian's Year in the War Zone".

Creator, Writer atrist for the self published book Jason of New York CIty, i have drawn for Pocketbook Heroes and other comic books over the last year, i was able to offer up my inking skills to assist with this wonderful book!

50 year old mother of 4, a daughter in the army, 3 grandsons, Nephew and nephew in-law in the air force, 2 brothers who were marines, and a Daddy who was in he Army and Navy. needless to say my whole family is very proud of our troups!

Michael "Sudsy" Sutherland served in the US Air Force as a 1C4X1 Tactical Air Control Party member for 6 years and 11 months.  Sudsy was stationed at Ft. Riley KS, Camp Casey ROK, and finally Ft. Wainwright AK where he was actually close enough to the Air Force at Eielson AFB to learn what "Big Blue" was all about...  During his time working with the Army, Sudsy has been to all the same excercises and shitholes, from the National Training Center and Joint Readiness Training Center, to Camp Doha, and the countryside of Korea...  While Stationed at Ft. Wainwright, Sudsy Deployed with the 172 SBCT from SEP05-FEB06 and worked out of FOB Courage and about halfway through switched to COP Rawah out west supporting the 2nd Marine Division with 4-14 Cavalry.  To top off his career, the US Air Force send Sudsy as an augmentee to support the 4-25 ABCT at FOB Kalsu in Iraq from NOV06-MAY07.  Sudsy ETS'ed from the USAF on 01JUL07 and decided to become a stay at home dad so his lovely wife could continue to pursue her career as a Veterinarian in Fairbanks AK full time.

Since then Sudsy has become delusional enough about his artistic skill to start a business trying to pass off his half assed work and work part time to support his bad habbit...  Just kidding...  Clayton Merwin liked his cartoons drawn in Iraq enough to include them in the graphic novel, "Untold Stories from Iraq".
