About Me

I have been an artist my entire life.  My professional career began when I produced some "True Life Stories of Valor" for the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police magazine.  I was twelve years old.   In the years since, I have sold painting in many galleries across America, served ten years in the United States Army, and taught many art class' in many venue's.  Most recently at Western Michigan University.  Currently I am producing webcomics under the "Mythic T" banner, most notably so far is my creation of "Ye Gawds!" which takes the mythic gods Thor, Hercules, and Morrigan and throws them across the Universe to help a distant planet.  Hilarity ensues!

About Me

I am the mother of Marine Ssgt. Joseph Fankhauser, KIA 4-22-2012 Afghanistan. Joe was my only child. I thank God that he allowed me to be Joe's mother for over 30 years. I thank God that we live in a country with brave men and women. Father Anthony Pavlov said, "We cry not because we have lost something, but because we were given so much."

About Me

Dan was deployed for over 20 years on submarines. Now enjoying retirement with his 4 kids on the beach of Virginia he finds many subjects for his art at the biggest Navy Base in the World, Norfolk, Va. Suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury, Art school is currently a fulfilling struggle for him. His call sign (yellowbronco) is derived from the yellow truck he drives.

He is a retired disabled veteran artist making a difference by connecting veterans that are artists. Using the camaraderie of military service and the healing power of art he has created a community through social networks, art groups and web sights. Having created Artwork by Veterans, he has provided place for vets to showcase their art work , meet other vets with the same interests and to heal from the wounds of war by supporting each other through art. Artwork by Veterans inspires greater understanding of the real impact of war with a focus on the healing aspect Art provides .
